Comparison

Strata vs. Rank One:
the honest version.

Rank One is a registration and eligibility platform used by thousands of schools, and it gives the Athletic Trainer a place to log injuries and daily treatments. That is more than most forms systems offer, and we say so below. The difference is what the record is connected to. In Rank One the treatment log is a log. In Strata the same injury changes tomorrow's lift, the athlete's fuel plan, and what the coach sees.

Where Rank One is genuinely good

Online registration with the physical uploaded by the parent, electronic forms, a green-light eligibility status that coaches check on their phones, schedules and alerts, secure messaging, and an Athletic Trainer module that logs injuries and daily treatments and sends a treatment report to coaches. If a district wants one login for forms, eligibility and a basic treatment log, it is a fair pick.

Where the model differs

Rank One starts from registration and adds an injury log. Strata starts from the athlete's whole record: the eval, the rehab plan, the validated outcome measures, the concussion protocol day by day, the strength program, the nutrition plan, the wellness check-ins and the training load, all reading each other. Keep Rank One for registration and eligibility. Strata reads its export and takes it from there.

When the Athletic Director says "Rank One already has an injury log"

"It does, and your Athletic Trainer should keep using it if it is working. Then ask it one question: what was this athlete's training load the two weeks before the injury, and what should his lifting and fuel look like this week? A log cannot answer that because it only holds the injury. Strata holds the injury next to the program, the check-ins and the fuel plan, so the answer is already on the screen."

Keep Rank One. Add the connection.

Export your athletes from Rank One and drop the file into Strata. It recognizes the export, brings names, parents, emergency contacts and physical clearance across, and invents nobody. Registration and eligibility stay where they are. Everything after eligibility runs in Strata.
