Aktivate, formerly Register My Athlete, moves the August paperwork online: parents register, upload the physical, sign the forms, and the Athletic Director approves. Coaches check eligibility on their phones. That is the front door of the season. Strata is the rest of the season: the injury, the return to play, the lift, the fuel, the check-in. Keep Aktivate. Strata reads its export.
Online athlete registration with the physical packet and the district's required forms, an approval queue for the athletic office, eligibility that coaches can see on the go, and a parent experience that many large districts have standardized on. It solves the August pile of paper, and it solves it well.
Aktivate's job ends when the athlete is cleared. Strata's begins there. The Athletic Trainer's record, the concussion protocol, the strength program, the nutrition plan, the daily wellness check-in, the training load and the weather safety log are all things Aktivate does not do and was not built to do. There is no overlap to argue about, only a file to hand from one to the other.

"Then the hard part is done, and nothing about it changes. Aktivate got the athlete cleared. Strata is what your Athletic Trainer, your strength coach and your athletes use from the first practice on. Export your athletes from Aktivate, drop the file into Strata, and the roster is there with parents and emergency contacts. Next August, re-export and it updates in place."
Ask one question: when your Athletic Trainer marks a kid limited on Tuesday, does Wednesday's lift know? Does his fuel plan? Does the coach's availability list? If the answer needs a group text, the stack is the problem, and no registration system fixes it. Strata does.
